Demeter Barstool v2

The v2 is a revision of the Demeter bar stool. Added curves enabled key improvements within the same footprint: larger seat, lower center of gravity and less material. 20 stools were made for Scali Caffe on Bleecker St.

Each stool is composed of two leg pieces, one seat ring and four feet, all lasercut from 0.25" stainless.

The legs are joined by plug welds through the top of the seat ring which get ground flush and are concealed by the seat.
