DKNY needed a new display fixture concept for their space at Harrod’s department store in London. 2005
Proposal 1: a modular cart for the shop floor, capable of display and customer access to garments.
Different configuration possibilities of the cart.
Standing units that accompany the cart.
Assembled, the standing units provide space for hanging, folded stacks, and display.
Proposal 2: a continuous line concept made of metal piping.
This concept was chosen for development.
The floor plan of the space at Harrod's limited the concept to two separated units.
Unit 1 with clothing and display.
Unit 2.
Unit 2 with clothing and display.
Rendering of unit 2.
Rendering of unit 1.
Fabrication for Harrod's is on hold, but the concept was installed at DKNY's Madison Avenue store using Speed-Rail.
